Partnership Liaison and Copyright Negotiation
Sumnergroup has proven track record in negotiating copyright access to cultural artifacts and intellectual property; identifying and bringing diverse partners together --- from the educational and cultural sectors, First Nations peoples, and NGOs. To date, we have negotiated copyright clearance and access on over 1,000 artifacts, on behalf of the Federal Government of Canada.

Educational Content Development

Teachers’ Advisory Group
The Sumnergroup works with a TAG (Teachers’ Advisory Group) in order to create culturally rich internet content. The TAG is an established forum for gathering educational stakeholder requirements and conducting focus group testing. In cultural web projects, where the educational component is an important component, rapid and accurate feedback from a representative sample of schools, classrooms, teachers, and students from across Canada(the major target audiences for the finished product) has been a major contributing factor to our success.
Public Relations and Website Promotion
Working with in-kind partners such as the Assembly of First Nations and the Pearson-Shoyama Institute, along with our clients and strategic partners, we can facilitate public relations for Radio, TV, and print media coverage, publicity, press releases, project gala, and website launch.
